Jennifer Burke is one of two female soldiers currently serving on the "Ghosts" team. She is one of their riflemen.
Jennifer Burke was born on June 28, 1978. She comes from a blue collar family in Indiana, earning her GED (General Educational Development) diploma before joining the Army. Slightly rebellious, she is an adrenaline junkie and enjoys extreme sports in her spare time. She is outspoken and not afraid to speak her mind.
Staff Sergeant Jennifer Burke has served with the "Ghosts" for a number of years. In 2011, she saw action in North Korea where she and her team fought a rogue North Korean general trying to seize power in the region. In 2012, she fought Pakistani rebels who had staged a coup d'etat against the Kazakh government.
In 2013, Captain Burke accompanied her team to Mexico during the signing of the North America Joint Security Agreement (NAJSA), but broke off from her team and was assigned to a different unit. While Captain Mitchell and his squad were fighting Mexican rebels in Mexico City, Burke and her squad were assigned to defend U.S. President James Ballantine as he fled to Air Force One. Unfortunately, her team was ambushed and forced to engage in a firefight with rogue Mexican soldiers. When General Martin requests a status report, she does not respond and the President is taken hostage.
Burke is currently presumed killed in action, but her official status has never been disclosed.
