Grant Blackwood is an American thriller writer. He is best known for writting several novels in the Ryanverse as well as the Briggs Tanner series. Blackwood has also written several novels in Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's franchise as a ghostwriter under the name David Michaels.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Grant spent three years aboard a guided missile frigate as an Operations Specialist and a Pilot Rescue Swimmer. Grant currently lives in Arizona.
