Gerry
Gerald "Gerry" Hendley is a character that appears in several Tom Clancy novels. He is a co-founder and leader of The Campus.
Biography[]
In 2001, Hendley served as a U.S. Senator. Due to the ongoing threat of global terrorism, Hendley assisted President Jack Ryan and Attorney General Patrick Martin in founding The Campus, an "off the books" intelligence organization that is able to combat terrorism without being hampered by international laws or policies. As a cover for the organization, Hendley founded a financial trading institution called Hendley Associates. Based in West Odenton, Maryland, The Campus' location allows it to intercept communications between the CIA and NSA.
